| From our federation headquarters, based in new offices in Guildford, we help and advise the WIs throughout the federation
Our WIs hold monthly meetings with speakers and demonstrations and are always happy to welcome new members. Some cater for the younger members, some for lively older people and some for a mixture of both.

The following extract, written in my autograph book when I was about ten years old, sums up the way I see our federation...
Make new friends,
But keep the old,
The former are silver,
But the latter are gold.
Old established WIs are gold, the new ones are silver, but will soon become old friends. Therefore, gold as well.
