| Ingredients:
450g/1lb lean lamb mince 1 small onion, peeled and finely chopped 1 small eating apple, peeled and grated 5ml/1tsp ground cumin 15ml/1tbsp sweet chilli sauce 1 egg, medium, beaten 50g/2oz fresh wholemeal breadcrumbs salt and freshly ground black pepper 15ml/1tbsp sunflower oil
Method:
- Place the lamb in a mixing bowl and add the onion, apple, cumin, chilli sauce, egg, breadcrumbs and seasoning.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into 6-8 burgers.
- Brush both sides of the burgers with the oil and grill or barbeque for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, depending on how thick you make the burgers.
- Ensure they are completely cooked through.
- Serve in a burger bun with a side salad garnish and pasta salad.
