Butterscotch apples 
A quick and easy dessert
Ingredients:

50g/2oz unsalted butter
60ml/4tbsp honey
50g/2oz demerara sugar
4 eating apples

Method:

  1. Peel, core and slice the apples
  2. Place butter, honey and sugar into large saucepan.
  3. Gently heat to melt, then bring to the boil and simmer for 2 mins until thick sauce.
  4. Add the apples to the pan.
  5. Simmer 4-6 mins until tender.
  6. Serve with cream.
