Privacy Policy

The College has a policy of respecting the rights and privacy of visitors to this website.
We ask for your name, address, telephone number and email for the purpose of verifying your course application, sending you the confirmation emails and information pack, and for contacting you to resolve queries on your application form. We may also use this information later as a quality control check on our own service. We will NOT pass your details on to third parties, list brokers etc.
The information you have provided will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act, and for payment of a small fee, you may obtain a report detailing all the information that this organisation holds about you.
From time to time, Denman College would like to inform you of other courses which may interest you. When you apply for a course, you have the option of choosing whether or not you want to be included on the mailing list. On occasions additional courses are arranged - these may be Stage II courses to allow progression and to take up demand on a waiting list. If you do not wish to be contacted please indicate.
Your name and address will be given to tutors eight weeks prior to the course. Some tutors like to make contact with their students prior to the course. When you apply for a course, you have the option of choosing whether or not you want your contact details to be given to tutors.
This organisation may share information with other organisations such as banks, credit card companies and the police for the purposes of security checks and combatting credit card fraud, provided those organisations also undertake to respect your privacy and to treat all such shared data as strictly confidential.
